Vision Quest - First Annual Group Get-Together in 
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

This intimate four-day Get-Together is designed for Facilitators and Therapists who want to receive the kind of knowledge that is rarely written, taught, or offered publicly.

This is an opportunity that is almost never available to the public.

Guided by Abuela Marisela Ugalde Velázquez de León, one of Mexico’s most respected guardians of ancestral tradition, and her daughter Mayra Armijo Ugalde, a Tonalpouhque and Mesoamerican researcher of Aztec cosmology, participants will sit with two women whose knowledge is usually passed only within lineage.

Another special guest is Dhargya Lobsang, a former Tibetan Monk known world-wide as a teacher and healer working way beyond the
scope of what is commonly known today.





Instead of classrooms, lectures, or formal instruction, we gather in circle — in gardens and sacred spaces — where teachings are shared the way they were meant to be shared:

Through conversation.
Through presence.
Through story, lineage, and lived wisdom.

Throughout the get-together, we'll explore Mesoamerican and Tibetan worldviews, energy practices, archetypes, ritual preparation, and the ancestral frameworks behind plant medicine facilitation — not as theory, but as living tools.

  • Meals will be primarily on your own, with a few special shared meals offered throughout the gathering for connection and celebration.

Your Guides

Mayra Armijo Ugalde (Tonalpoulque)
is a researcher, teacher, and cultural bearer dedicated to the ancestral wisdom of Mesoamerica. Rooted in the lineage of the time keepers, she specializes in Aztec Astrology, Pre-Hispanic symbology, psychology, and philosophy, applying these traditions in contexts of therapy, education, business, and social transformation.

Marisela Ugalde Velázquez de León, affectionately known as Abuela Marsiella, is recognized as a guardian of Mexican ancestral tradition. Her vocation has been to recover and transmit the wisdom of plant medicines, warrior women (Cihuateteo), and the philosophies of pre-Hispanic Mexico, bringing them into modern practice and daily life.

Dhargya Lobsang, Tibetan Monk - Dhargya's work focuses on helping practitioners understand how energy moves through the body, nervous system, and subtle channels — and how facilitators can protect, stabilize, and restore themselves while working deeply with others. 

His teachings are often sought by therapists and healers who work intensively with others and need practical ways to remain clear, grounded
