THE NEXT CHAPTER
A Women's Vision Quest Retreat

Dao House,
Estes Park, Colorado

Return to the mountains with me.
Dao House was an important part of my life journey and the place where I studied and worked for many years.

A few days away from ordinary life — high in the Colorado Rockies — to slow down, listen more deeply, and explore the next chapter waiting to be lived.

June 24 - 27th - 2027

A Personal Rite of Passage

There are moments in life when we realize another chapter is waiting to be lived.

A career ends. A relationship changes. Retirement arrives. A long-held identity no longer quite fits.

Or perhaps something inside simply whispers:
“There is still something more I'm here to create.”

This retreat was created for that moment.

Inspired by Wabi-Sabi — the Japanese appreciation of authenticity, imperfection and the beauty of a life fully lived — this is a place to pause, listen and discover what wants to come next.

Dao House, Estes Park, Colorado

High in the Rocky Mountains, far from the noise and routines of everyday life, Dao House gives us something increasingly rare:
Space.

Some things cannot be understood by thinking about them.

They have to be experienced.

Through ceremony, creativity, nature, conversation and learning from the "teacher plants"  we step outside our usual ways of seeing long enough for something different to emerge.

But the experience itself is only the beginning.

What matters is what you bring home — and how you live it.

Experience Becomes the Teacher

Most of us carry something we've been meaning to begin.

A book. A business. A creative idea. A different way of living. A dream postponed for years.

We call it your Power Project — something tangible that gives your next chapter a place to begin.

Insight matters. What you do with it matters too.

Your Power Project

There is something very different about gathering in a small group high in the mountains.

The scale of the landscape changes the scale of everyday concerns. There is room to walk, breathe, reflect — and still return to the circle.

Our Next Chapter retreats at Dao House are intentionally kept small, allowing room for individual attention and the deeply personal nature of the journey, while creating the connection that happens when people step away from ordinary life together.

Your journey remains your own.
You simply don't have to make all of it alone.

The Intimacy of a
Small Group

Your Journey
Before You Arrive

Your experience begins before you ever arrive at Dao House.
We'll explore your intentions, what may be changing in your life, and what you hope to discover or create through your Vision Quest.

You'll also receive guidance to help you prepare for the journey ahead — so that by the time you arrive in the Colorado Rockies, you've already begun stepping away from ordinary life and toward the experience waiting for you.
Arrive ready to enter the work.

No two retreats are exactly alike.

Your days may weave together psychedelic exploration, ceremony, Vision Quest teachings, creative practice, movement, reflection and integration.

But Dao House gives us another teacher as well:
the mountains themselves.
There will be time to walk, breathe, sit beneath the enormous Colorado sky, talk around a fire, rest, create — or simply be still.

Because sometimes the most important part of the work happens when you walk up the mountain afterward.

During Your Retreat

This retreat may be for you if you're entering a new season of life...

if something you've postponed is asking for your attention...

if you want space to reflect, imagine and listen... or if you simply know something is changing, even though you can't quite name it yet.

You don't need to arrive with all the answers.

That's rather the point.
